Apprentice Registration
(Please read completely and agree to these terms with your signature at the end of this form.)
With your signature, you have intent of binding yourself, your spouse, your heirs, legal representatives and assigns, execute this release as your own free act and deed.
You, the participant, will be referred to as Releasor through the remainder of this agreement.
Releasor, being of lawful age, in consideration of being permitted to participate in the 26th Annual Tennessee Valley Lineman Rodeo, to be held at Liberty Park, do for myself, my spouse, and my heirs, legal representatives and assigns, hereby release and forever discharge the Tennessee Valley Lineman Rodeo Corporation, its officers, Tennessee Job Training & Safety, TVPPA, CDE Lightband, all sponsors and the City of Clarksville, TN. (hereinafter “Releasee”), its officers, directors, stockholders, heirs, executors, administrators, or legal representatives, or other successors in interest, of and from any and every claim, demand, action or right of action, of whatever kind or nature, either in law or equity, arising from or by reason of, and hereby assumes all risks of, any bodily injuries or personal injuries known or unknown, death or occurrence that may occur during or as a result of Releasor’s participation in the Lineman Rodeo or any activities in connection with the Lineman Rodeo, whether caused by negligence of Releasee or otherwise.
Releasor further releases all Releasees, officials, other participants or any professional person of any claim whatsoever on account of first aid, treatment or services rendered, during his/her participation in the Lineman Rodeo.
Releasor agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Releasees, and each of them, from any loss, liability, damage, or cost, including attorney’s fees, they may incur due to the presence of Releasor in or upon Liberty Park/CDE Lightband during the Lineman Rodeo, whether caused by negligence of Releasees or otherwise.
Releasor further warrants and states that if registered above as Lineman, is indeed Journeyman qualified, if registered above as Apprentice, is indeed a qualified climber. Releasor is aware of and understands all safety regulations and rules applicable to servicing, repairing, replacing, or otherwise working with or on electrical power lines. Releasor will also supply, for his/her own use, climbers, belt, hand tools, and other required safety equipment.

Participant Responsibility & Ticket Information
Participants are responsible for their own transportation, hotel and meal expenses en route and during the Rodeo. Participants must sign and submit with registration a Liability Release form before participating in the Rodeo, releasing the Rodeo sponsors and sponsor employer from any liability should an injury occur during the Rodeo.
Competitors will receive free admission to the Saturday evening Awards Banquet Ceremony. Team competitors, including alternates, will receive free admission to the Saturday evening Awards Banquet Ceremony.
Affiliate members of either organization prior to January 2019 are grandfathered in and may continue to participate.
